The summer season is well and truly upon us and it's time to refresh your golf wardrobe with stylish and comfortable attire that won't break the bank. Whether you're a seasoned golfer or just starting out, dressing appropriately for the season can enhance your performance and enjoyment on course. In this article, we'll explore the latest trends in summer golf fashion and provide tips on finding budget-friendly options.

Embracing Summer Trends

Summer is all about staying cool and comfortable while looking chic on the golf course. Here are some key trends to keep in mind:

1. Lightweight and SPF Fabrics: Look for moisture-wicking, sun-safe and breathable materials like polyester blends. These fabrics help keep you sun-safe, cool and dry, even on the hottest days.

2. Bright Colours and Patterns: Traditional colours like white, navy, and black are always safe bets, but adding a vibrant colour or a subtle print / pattern can make your outfit stand out.

3. Sleeveless Tops: Sleeveless golf tops are perfect for summer, offering freedom of movement and a stylish look. If you choose a sleeveless golf top remember to apply and reapply sunscreen.

Don’t forgot get to check your local course and their attire rules before your game.

Looking great on the golf course does not have to be expensive. Here are some tips for finding budget-friendly golf attire:

1. Mix and Match: Invest in versatile pieces that can be easily mixed and matched. Neutral colours like navy, black, and khaki are great for bottoms, as they can be paired with a variety of tops.

2. Affordable Brands: There are many brands that offer stylish and affordable golf clothing.

3. Sales and Discounts: Keep an eye out for sales and discounts at your favourite golf apparel stores. You can often find high-quality items at a fraction of the original price. It is also worth visiting your local outlet shopping centre, as stores such as Nike and Adidas have golf ranges that are occasionally in store and heavily discounted.

Remember the Australian Women’s Golf Network has curated ProKit, an affordable golf attire range, and as a member, you recieve a discount with The House of Golf. Below are some affordable golf attire options available from your local major shopping centre.
