Reflections: Lessons Learned for a More Balanced and Fulfilling 2025

As we enter a new year, it's crucial to take some time for introspection and reflect on the lessons we've learned over the past 12 months. The AWGN community is all about personal growth, and we want to share our teams’ experiences in 2024 with you as an invitation for you to embark on your journey of reflection. Here's our plan to create balance and focus for the first months.

January: The Month of Detox

For the past fortnight, our team has committed to the importance of detoxing from phones and dopamine in general. With the constant barrage of notifications and distractions, it's easy to get caught up in the cycle of instant gratification. We challenged ourselves to unplug and disconnect, creating space for calm and mindfulness.

Make time for Wellness

Schedule technology-free periods each day.

Replace screen time with activities that foster creativity and peace, such as journaling or reading.

Set aside a few minutes daily to focus on your breath and let go of distracting thoughts.

February: Perfecting the Swing - A Month of Golf

In Feb, refine your golf skills and commit to regular weekly practice sessions. The key is making a schedule and sticking to it.

Join a local golf club or social group.
Playing with others can help keep you accountable and motivated.

Learn from more experienced players and share tips.

Set achievable goals.
Focus on improving one aspect of your game at a time.

Celebrate small victories as you progress.
