This unique course was originally built as a private practice facility to share with friends and family. Due to popular demand, the course is now exclusively available to guests with a booking of on-site boutique accommodation.
The course layout is essentially a very small golf course with no fairways, every shot is either a pitch, chip, or putt. All turf surfaces on the course are real grass, the water hazard is natural, and the rainforest backdrop is rugged and native. The course consists of an 18-hole circuit played over 10 small, but challenging greens. It crisscrosses over an area around two acres in size, it takes around 40 minutes to an hour to complete the circuit. Each hole is a Par 3, varying in distance from 29 to 86 meters, and is entirely different from the next. There are three sand bunkers, two grass bunkers, and various strategically placed trees and garden beds to negotiate, adding to the complexity of each hole, often forcing creativity with shot-making. Kellaway’s creek passes through the course and is in play on 10 of the 18 holes, so whilst there is a chance to make a birdie on every hole, there is always a bogey lurking.
Guests have the exclusivity of having the course, or the option of a guided experience is available. Feel free to play at your own pace, at any time of the day. Custom scorecards for our course which include all individual hole lengths and course rules are available. Our unique scorecards are designed to record 2 players’ scores over 6 rounds, perfect for a traveling couple who love golf. These make a perfect keepsake with potential bragging rights.
