#30days Home Organisation Challenge

DAY 9: How does your medicine cabinet currently look? Figuring out how to store and organise vitamins, supplements and medicine bottles is more important than ever! Whether you keep these items in a bathroom medicine cabinet, a kitchen cabinet or the pantry, organizing them will simplify your daily routine and prevent you and your family from accidentally taking expired meds.

JOURNAL:

Discuss several things you have accomplished this month. How do these accomplishments make you feel?

TASK:

Sort Your Vitamins & Supplements

How to Organize Vitamins, Supplements & Medicines in Four Steps

Step 1: Clear the Medicine Cabinet

Step 2: Dispose of Expired Medicines and Vitamins

Step 3: Sanitise Your Space

Step 4: Organise and Stock the Cabinet

Tip: organize over-the-counter medications that come in boxes and blister packs. It’s easier to store them in flat, stackable meal prep containers. Bottles can be grouped in clear bins. Make labels to easily identify each container based on the type of medication inside (allergy meds, pain meds, antacid/nausea, etc.)

Bottom line is, if you do not use it or need it, it’s clutter, and it needs to go.
