Dee's passion for growing businesses ethically and responsibly, empowering women, and sharing her love for golf makes her an exemplary representative for our organisation.
Dee's journey began when her children sparked her interest in golf, inspiring her to pick up the sport to create lasting bonds with her sons. Eager to improve her skills and foster connections, Dee joined AWGN, where she found a supportive community of women golfers. Her dedication to promoting inclusivity and breaking down barriers in the sport has encouraged others to embrace the game.
As an active member of AWGN, Dee has attended numerous events in NSW, ACT, and VIC, connecting with fellow golf enthusiasts and learning from their experiences. Her enthusiasm for the sport and desire to build meaningful relationships transcends state borders, and plans to attend events in Brisbane and Adelaide soon. Dee's involvement with AWGN has inspired her to create opportunities for other women, such as organising golf events for mothers in her community. These gatherings have blossomed into a supportive network of Golf Mums who, in turn, participate in group lessons, competitions, and charity events, creating friendships and promoting the sport's positive vibe.
Dee's commitment to making a huge impact extends beyond the golf course. As a dedicated volunteer for various charities, she has helped raise funds for important causes and fostered a sense of community engagement among her fellow golfers. This dedication to giving back exemplifies the spirit of sportsmanship and compassion Dee brings to her role as an AWGN Ambassador.
Dee aims to inspire women to embark on or embrace their golf journeys, emphasising the importance of making the sport accessible and enjoyable for all. With her strong Filipino heritage, Dee's consulting work focuses on ethical and sustainable outsourcing to the Philippines, providing people with opportunities to thrive in their chosen careers while prioritising their well-being and family lives.

Her dedication to making a positive impact on the world through her professional endeavours and golf advocacy aligns perfectly with AWGN's mission to create meaningful connections and promote inclusivity within the sport. In her own words, Dee reflects on her journey, "I have to remind myself sometimes that I've just learned a sport as an adult when most of us learn sports as kids. I've already accomplished so much. Golf is a great way to stop, focus on hitting a little white ball for a moment, and enjoy the journey."
