AWGN Launches Girls Schools Golf Program!

Melbourne, Victoria - The Australian Women's Golf Network (AWGN) is thrilled to announce the Girls Schools Golf Program launch, an initiative designed to empower girls through the game of golf while fostering essential life skills and enduring connections. The program's mission is to provide a fun and inclusive environment encouraging girls to thrive in golf and beyond.

In partnership with Korowa Anglican Girls' School in Victoria, the program takes its first steps towards fostering a community of confident young women who are equipped with the tools to succeed both on and off the course. Korowa, known for its commitment to providing the finest education, sports and wellness programs, has proven to be an ideal collaborator in launching this groundbreaking initiative. Under the leadership of Director of Sport, David Batty, Korowa continues to pave the way for innovative opportunities that enrich students' lives.

AWGN would like to extend its gratitude to equipment partners PING, Callaway, and The House of Golf, who have provided top-of-the-line junior girls' and women's golf equipment at a special partnership price in support of our initiative.

The Girls Schools Golf Program will focus on promoting the importance of golf for young women in business and networking, nurturing a new generation of female leaders. AWGN firmly believes in the program's alignment with its core values of inclusivity, growth, and community.

Co-Founder Jessica Eden shares her excitement about the program's potential impact: "We are delighted to launch the Girls Schools Golf Program with Korowa, which will equip young women with invaluable skills and friendships that will last a lifetime. We look forward to seeing the positive influence this initiative will have on the future of girls' golf and women in business."
