AWGN at Royal Queensland!
Last week, we had the absolute pleasure of hosting a highly successful event at the prestigious Royal Queensland Golf Club. The day was filled with laughter, networking, and a celebration of women in business!
RQ left us with an inspiring first impression. The lush green fairways, immaculately manicured greens, and breathtaking views set the perfect stage for a day of golfing greatness. As we arrived, the welcoming staff ensured that every attendee felt at ease, setting the tone for a remarkable event.
Before hitting the greens, we were treated to a delicious lunch. The culinary team provided a wonderful selection that catered to all tastes and dietary preferences.
One of the most inspiring aspects of this event was the presence of young women from the property and construction sectors. It was wonderful to witness the courage and determination of these women on the golf course. Their enthusiasm was infectious, and their commitment to personal and professional growth was truly remarkable. We are proud to have such incredible women among our ranks, and we applaud their efforts in breaking barriers and making a mark in traditionally male-dominated industries.
The coaching provided by Zoe Maxwell & Keely Purdey was nothing short of excellent. The expertise they offered enabled all participants, regardless of skill level, to enhance their game. From perfecting swings to improving putting techniques, our members were given the tools to take their golfing to new heights.
After honing our skills and challenging ourselves on the course, we had the pleasure of playing 3 holes of golf. The sense of accomplishment and camaraderie that emerged from these few holes was truly priceless, well done!
To conclude this extraordinary day, we were treated to a delightful cheese and wine tasting courtesy of Hentley Farm Wines from the Barossa Valley. The rich flavors of the cheeses paired beautifully with the exquisite wines and provided a fitting finale to an unforgettable event. It was a perfect moment to relax, unwind, and reflect on the success and joy that the day had brought us.
Reflecting on the phenomenal growth of our Queensland membership, we are overwhelmed with pride and gratitude. Our community continues to expand rapidly, drawing in incredible women from diverse backgrounds and industries. This event served as a testament to the passion and dedication of our members, and we are thrilled to have such a strong and vibrant network in Queensland.
