A Guide on How To Survive Golfing this Winter

As the weather starts to get colder, it is no reason to not venture out onto Australia’s spectacular golf courses. These tips will help you stay warm, dry and enjoy our beautiful game through this winter:

✅ Dress for Success: Layer up! Keep warm with thermal base layers, a weather-resistant jacket, and don't forget your gloves and beanie. Stay comfortable and focused on the game.

🔥 Warm-Up Routine: Prioritise a thorough warm-up session to loosen your muscles. Stretch your arms, shoulders, and legs to avoid injuries and ensure a smooth swing.

⛳️ Club Selection: Cooler temperatures affect ball flight, making it harder to generate distance. Consider using a lower lofted club or adding an extra club to compensate for reduced ball carry.

⛳️ Mind the Greens: Winter conditions can mean slower greens. Make adjustments to your putting stroke, hitting the ball slightly harder to compensate for the slower speed.

💧Stay Hydrated: Even though it's colder, your body still needs hydration. Drink plenty of water throughout the round to stay focused and energised.

❄️Embrace the Elements: Winter golf can be challenging but also a unique experience. Stay positive, adapt your strategy, and enjoy the beauty of the winter landscape.

We look forward to seeing you all getting out there this winter! ❤️
